History

It enjoys a splendid panorama of Monte Tezio from which it takes its name. Some recent studies have shown that the Etruscans had begun to build the city of Perugia right on this hill from whose summit the Tiber valley is dominated on one side while on the other the gaze reaches as far as Lake Trasimeno.

The medallion on the headboard of the master bedroom reproduces the Villa del Colle del Cardinale, the sixteenth-century summer residence of Cardinal della Corgna which can be visited every weekend and can be reached on foot from the Casale dei Dotti.
